Tried the sea salt caramel after watching on eatbook and must say it did not disappoint!! Requested for crispy, just right texture. Crispy outside but nice and soft inside. Must have on the spot if u want it crispy! $2.80 for the sea salt caramel. Was so good i had to try another and ordered the cream cheese that also slaps.

Chanced upon this old school bakery abs was excited. It's not any other neighbourhood bakery. It serious interesting swiss rolls like yam paste serious roll, which is filled generously with real yam paste. We also tried the sweet potato bread that was so heavy because of the weight of the sweet potato filling. Was tempted to buy the various nutty cookies and old school butter cakes, as well as the pandan waffles, but were too full. Will return to patronise this cool shop!

Hands down the best old school bakery yet. Superb buns that are light and fluffy and generously filled. I would like to think all the buns are nice because it was pretty consistent throughout the 4 I bought. Got waffles on my 2nd visit and requested for crispy - was good but a little pricey imo. $3.20 for cream cheese + blueberry waffle and $2.80 for sea salt caramel. I wouldn't recommend getting the sea salt caramel waffle as the caramel sauce is too light and watery, almost tasteless and lacklusture in the waffle.

Came to the neighbourhood at 8am looking for this bakery to check out waffles but was told waffles were not available until after 10am. Was pleasantly surprised that they have ni-su buns (奶酥麵包) rarely found or seen in Singapore and also one of the best otah buns I have had. 👍

The orh nee cake is really nice and worth a try. Not too sweet but flavourful enough For the waffles, there’s 15mins wait for sun lunch time. Ordered the butter version which is so so. I think need to try the special flavours for something diff. Otherwise think is quite common

This shop has the best yam cakes in singapore. $4.2 per slice of yam roll cake. The yam filling is thick, with little chunks of yam, and not too sweet at all. The waffle is a must try too, the waffle is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Pandan cake is huge, tall, fluffy and strong aroma of Pandan. there are many choices of pretty looking cakes too, worth visiting!

Pandan waffles fans, you gotta try this! This old-school bakery is famous for its crispy yam mooncakes, and taro bakes like Taro Bun ($1.80) and Orh Nee Cake Roll ($4.20). For yam aficionados, the Orh Nee Cake Roll will surely delight. Moderately sweet, the yam filling is delightfully thick and smooth, speckled with small yam pieces. But don't miss their pandan waffles. Slight crunch on the outside with fluffy centre, this buttery waffles has a distinct pandan aroma. Must try those Sea Salt Caramel Waffles which hits the spot! P.S: Waffles are available only after 12pm.
